Synopsis
The topic of education has become a very sensitive social issue in Korea. As secondary academics have become the norm in Korean society, mothers feel more and more pressure to aggressively educate their children. This pressure is pushed onto their children, which often times leads to mother-child tensions. As the mother tries to force education on their child, the child begins feeling constrained, and wishes to be free. As this pressure for education builds and builds, both the mother and child become weary of each other leading to damaged relationships. The result is a cold home where people are longing for the love that once existed.
“Super Mom” examines each of these issues in hopes of conveying what’s best for our children.
