About:
Ji-Yun is a free-spirited young women who always views the cup as being “half-full.” Her optimism is surprising when considering the fact that she comes from a broken home where her father abandoned her family to live with another woman. Her mom raised her and her two sisters by selling kimchee and living frugally.
In the early part of the drama, Ji-Yun is happily married to Joon-Ho. Her natural optimism carries over to her marriage life, and allows her to endure Joon-Ho’s mother’s condescending attitude. However, when Joon-Ho suddenly begins an affair with Ha-Young, her optimism shatters and her whole demeanor seems to change, as she morphs from a happy, free-spirited girl to a heart-broken, and vulnerable girl. She divorces Joon-Ho and he ends up going to America through a company sponsored program.
Later on in the drama, Ji-Yun finds herself as a single mom who has fallen in love with Tae-Sup, who is also a single parent. Little does she know, Tae-Sup has a startling connection to her family. At the same time, Joon-Ho returns from America, and storms back into her life as he tries to re-capture her heart. Ji-Yun, still struggling to forgive Joon-Ho, is unwilling to give him a chance.
Will Tae-Sup’s mysterious connection to Ji-Yun’s family be enough to break them apart? And if so, will Ji-Yun get back together with Joon-Ho or continue to live as a single mom?
