Talent star Jung Rye-Won talks about how she could’ve been Go Eun-Chan from Coffee Prince. She talks about this on the KBS 2TV show “Sang Sang Plus.”
As she talks about stories behind the drama and movie casting scene, it became revealed that she had the opportunity to be the lead role in “Coffee Prince” and “200 Pound Beauty.” However, after much thought she decided that it wasn’t the right role for her. Instead, Yoon Eun-Hye and Kim Ah-Joong played the lead role which led them to stardom.
When asked by the MC whether or not she feels any regret, she responds and says that each role has a specific character in mind and those roles were not the right “fit” for her.
She also speaks to the hit drama “My Name is Kim Sam Soon” and how her role as Hee-Jin was not a great fit for her as well. This role could have belonged to Han Yae-Seul.
This story will be aired on September 4th, 2007 on KBS 2TV’s “Sang Sang Plus” at 11:05 PM.
