Chae-Joon is intelligent, smart, and good-looking. Unfortunately, his life is the epitome of bad luck. He lost his parents at a young age, and doesn’t even have enough money to satisfy his girlfriend, Min-Hee! To make matters worse, Min-Hee’s father is a jobless sluggard drowning in debt.
Chae-Joon decides to help Min-Hee’s father and begins working multiple jobs. One night, mis-fortune strikes again when a tired Chae-Joon hits and kills Jin-Young’s fiancé with his car! He’s sentenced to an 18 month sentence and sits in the jail cell as he is overcome with guilt.
After Chae-Joon comes out of jail, he decides to live recklessly convinced that he deserves to be punished for the rest of his life. All this changes when he meets Jin-Young who encourages him to believe that he has a second chance at life. Ironically, she is also the same person who wrote Chae-Joon a letter saying he should always remember his horrible deed long ago…
As fate will have it, Chae-Joon falls in love with Jin-Young without realizing she is the fiancé of the man he killed!

She begins to experience a mix of emotions as she wrestles with feelings of guilt towards her dead fiancé, and pleasure from her love towards Chae-Joon.
When Jin-Young makes the realization that Chae-Joon has all but erased her memories of her dead fiancé, she becomes convinced that she is truly in love with him. She discusses the matter with her dead fiancé's father and he tells her that it is time to move on. Encouraged by the discussion, Jin-Young arranges a dinner for Chae-Joon to meet her dead fiancé's parents...

Thus, although Chae-Joon has always showered her with unconditional love, she becomes enamored by Hyun-Chul’s wealth and high stature and eventually dumps Chae-Joon.
Min-Hee becomes an airport stewardess and begins working alongside Hyun-Chul. As she tries to seduce him, she comes to the realization that his heart has always been with Jin-Young. Ironically, it is during this time that Chae-Joon and Jin-Young become intimately involved!
Eventually, Min-Hee realizes the truth about Chae-Joon’s connection to Jin-Young’s fiancé's death and works together with Hyun-Chul to try to break the couple apart. However, much to Min-Hee’s dismay, Chae-Joon has fallen so in love with Jin-Young that he has completely forgotten about her!

Hyun-Chul is a well-mannered pilot with a strong sense of discipline. When his best friend introduces him to his new girlfriend, Jin-Young, he instantly falls in love. Although he is able to keep his feelings under wraps, Jin-Young eventually learns the truth.
One night, Hyun-Chul meets with Jin-Young and confesses everything to her. After the meeting, Hyun-Chul walks Jin-Young home and prepares to let go of her forever. As he turns to leave, Jin-Young runs back to him and hugs him. Little do they know, Jin-Young’s fiancé is watching the whole interaction unfold! Later that night, Hyun-Chul receives a call from Jin-Young’s fiancé who begins telling him how much he trusts him. Right as he finishes his statement, Hyun-Chul hears a car screeching to a stop and people screaming in the background. He is shocked to learn that Jin-Young’s fiancé has just been hit by a car! He rushes to the hospital with Jin-Young only to find that Jin-Young’s fiancé has died.
With his best friend’s last words about trust still lingering in his mind, Hyun-Chul leaves Korea vowing to forget about Jin-Young forever. However, when he returns to Korea and becomes reunited with her, his past feelings resurface. Even the attractive Min-Hee, who begins pursuing him aggressively, can’t deter his mind from her. To make matters worse, Jin-Young seems to be falling for a training mechanic by the name of Chae-Joon!
Will the usually well-mannered and disciplined Hyun-Chul be able to remain calm?
