Synopsis
|
|
|
Kim Chae-Joon (Yoon Kye-Sang) is the faithful type who dedicates his heart to one girl. Although his girlfriend Jo Min-Hee (Kim Eun-Joo) is embarrassed of him at times, he still dedicates his whole life to her. When Min-Hee’s father becomes evicted from his property for failing to pay rent, Chae-Joon begins working multiple jobs to help him repay his debt. At the same time, Min-Hee begins working at a shady night club as a cocktail waitress.
On the fateful night of New Year’s Eve, a tired Chae-Joon works late into the night as a chauffeur. As he drives a client home from a club, he begins falling asleep behind the wheel. Just as the clock strikes midnight, Chae-Joon hits Suh Jin-Young’s (Lee Mi-Yun) fiancé with his car! Meanwhile, an unaware Jin-Young stands in a crowd smiling as she watches fireworks and waits for her fiancé. She receives a call about the accident from her good friend Lee Hyun-Chul (Lee Jong-Hyuk) and rushes to the hospital.
Jin-Young’s fiancé dies and Chae-Joon is sentenced to an 18 month imprisonment. Shortly after, a traumatized Hyun-Chul decides to leave Korea. As it turns out, he had secret feelings for Jin-Young the whole time! Overcome by guilt over the death of his friend and his secret, Hyun-Chul leaves Korea with the intention to forget about his love for Jin-Young forever.
A few years later, Hyun-Chul returns to Korea as a pilot and ends up working together with Min-Hee, who is now an airport stewardess. Ironically, Chae-Joon is also working at the airport training to become a plane mechanic under Jin-Young's leadership!
As the drama progresses, Min-Hee dumps Chae-Joon and starts pursuing Hyun-Chul, while Jin-Young and Chae-Joon begin falling in love. Unfortunately for Min-Hee, Hyun-Chul still has strong lingering feelings for Jin-Young! What will happen to the love triangle when the truth of Chae-Joon's history is revealed?!
