Synopsis
This drama is about the interaction between two people, Lee Jin-Hee (Wang Bit-Na) and James O’Neil (Kim Nam-Jin). As James is scouted to be the CEO of a department store, he has other plans as well- to find his biological mother.
Having been adopted at a very young age, James knows nothing about his own culture except from what he’s learned from the TV, internet, or Korea Town in New York! While he could’ve easily stayed in the city, he chooses to stay with the Park family and treats his time there as a home stay so that he can learn more about his own culture.
It’s during this time that he has many run ins with the ever so vibrant Jin-Hee. While they have a rough start, the two learn a lot about each other and soon rely on each other…
Jin-Hee also has her own problems as she takes care of her husband’s entire family while also taking care of her son. Ever since her husband’s been in a vegetated state at the hospital she’s had to raise their son by herself and also take care of his family.
As the two get to know each other more and more it’s only natural that feelings evolve. Will Jin-Hee be able to move on without her husband? What will James learn about his biological mother?
