Lee Young-Ah (이영아)
Role: Nguyen Jinju (누엔 진주)
Name: Lee Young-Ah (이영아)
About: Jinju is a half Vietnamese and half Korean girl who was raised in Vietnam by her mother. Her father left years ago when she was two years old, and the one thing she knows about him is that he left her the name “jinju” because it’s reflective of the beauty of a pearl. She currently works as a linguist at a translation company and was able to learn her Korean at a Korean pastor’s house. She’ll eventually marry Jun-Woo in order to find her biological father…
Song Chang-Eui (송창의)
Role: Kang Jun-Woo (강준우)
Name: Song Chang-Eui (송창의)
About: Jun-Woo completed his studies at Seoul University and earned a degree in Business. While he’s had some heart ache over an ex-girlfriend whom he separated with while he was in the army, he’s learned to move on. With the encouragement of his mother he eventually marries Jinju.
Choi Yuh-Jin (최여진)
Role: Ok Ji-Young (옥지영)
Name: Choi Yuh-Jin (최여진)
About: She’s rich and beautiful, but it wasn’t always that way. Her father was a driver of a hot shot CEO and she eventually moved on to Chicago in order to pursue her dream of becoming part of the rich and famous. While she had to leave Jun-Woo in order to do so, she will later marry Young-Min who is the son of a wealthy family.

However, she will have many run ins with Jun-Woo as she rivals with Jinju at social gatherings.
