About:
At only a few days old he was separated by his mother in hopes of no one discovering his true identity. If enemies knew that he came from a father who supported the previous King, he would die immediately. Found by a nearby temple and raised by a village grandmother, he was taken in and grew up in his new role preparing to be a “Nae-Shi,” servant to the King.
During his childhood he eventually would meet So-Hwa. After saving her life he falls in love with her and would do anything to make her happy. However, during a time when social class dictated one’s future life it becomes bitterly apparent that the two would be leading very separate lives.
Chuh-Sun is eventually tricked by twisted lies to enter the Palace as a Nae-Shi, servant to the King, so that he can protect So-Hwa. However, when he learns that So-Hwa will become one of the wives to the King he can’t help but feel a burning sense within his heart…

About:
One day, while visiting the temple with her mother she is bitten by a poisonous snake! Thankfully, Chuh-Sun was there and helped to save her life. It’s at this time that the two become close friends. As So-Hwa grows older she sees Chuh-Sun in a different light and realizes her love for him…
However, with social class being a larger barrier than ever, they realize how hard it is to be together. Especially since So-Hwa comes from a family with educational background as her father even participated in writings with respect to Sejong and Koryo.
With the same twisted lies being told to her, she decides to enter the second Palace as one of the wives to the King in order to do the “right thing” for both herself, Chuh-Sun, and Sung Jong.
During her first night with the King, she remembers a promise she made with Chuh-Sun and can’t go through with the intimacy that is desired by the King. King Sung Jong, who realizes why So-Hwa won’t give herself to him, makes it a vow to keep her even more because of Chuh-Sun.
So-Hwa, didn’t think she’ll ever see Chuh-Sun again, but one day they meet each other within the Palace.

About:
Sung Jong became King at a very early age since his father passed away. While his mother left the Palace he was raised by one of the Palace servants and even becomes closer to this woman than his own mother. This woman is actually Chuh-Sun's mother who, most likely from the trauma, forgot her own past!
Meanwhile, at the young age of 11 he married a woman due to political reasons and eventually becomes the 9th King of the Chosun Dynasty.
While he’s always liked So-Hwa, due to politics he was never able to act upon his own feelings. However, after seeing his own love unreciprocated, he decides to make it his mission to see her as his Queen.
What will happen to the friendship the three once had? And will Chuh-Sun's mother remember her past?
