Synopsis
|
|
|
Complicated. Twisted. Mysterious. Are just a few words to describe this drama. Han Min-Gook (Lee Sung-Jae) is being slammed with a divorce and a settlement that would make anyone's jaw drop. After 6 years of marriage to one of Korea's top actresses Lee Ae-Ri (Han Eun-Jung) it's finally come to an end. Why? That is where the mystery comes into play. Only Ae-Ri and her lawyer, Byun Hyuk (Ryu Soo-Young) seems to have the evidence and therefore confidence to win this case.
Meanwhile, Min-Gook is determined to find a lawyer, and who better to represent him other than Ae-Ri's only friend Woo Yi-Kyung (Lee Soo-Young)? While Yi-Kyung has no intention to represent Min-Gook, she will eventually agree to his terms and represent him. What is surprising is his choice - Yi-Kyung does not belong to a fancy, corporate law firm that resides on the top floor of a fancy building. So why her? Is it purely for the purposes of revenge? Surely he can't be that stupid?
Aside from Min-Gook and Ae-Ri's own love war, Yi-Kyung and Hyuk are also trying to figure out where they stand. Hyuk had left Yi-Kyung without a word 6 years ago and just returned expecting Yi-Kyung to welcome him with open arms. However, that is far from what he expected and now the two are trying to figure out where they belong in each other's lives if at all!
As the drama unfolds many questions will need to be answered: what will happen between Yi-Kyung and Hyuk? Will Min-Gook end up falling for his own lawyer? Will Ae-Ri? And what is it that Ae-Ri is using as ammunition against her own ex-husband? Who will win this case?
