Joon-Hyuk is an ambitious and arrogant surgeon professor. Although he initially begins his medial career being well respected by most of his colleagues, his power-hungry attitude eventually causes him to lose the respect of many of his colleagues.
When Joon-Hyuk gets voted in as the new Surgical Director, his egotistical attitude worsens. He begins neglecting his patients and only concerning himself with furthering his own reputation.
One day, Joon-Hyuk learns that one of his patients has died and the patient’s wife is suing him and the hospital! Although a simple apology from Joon-Hyuk may be enough to stop the legal battle, Joon-Hyuk is determined to protect his reputation and his actions.

Min-Gook comes to Myung-In University Hospital with hopes of becoming the next Surgical Director. He is known as a competent surgeon, and has even published his thesis in various science magazines. He knows defeating Joon-Hyuk won’t be easy, but he also knows he has the support and trust of the current Surgical Director. The Surgical Director likes Min-Gook so much that he even wants him to wed his daughter!
When Joon-Hyuk defeats Min-Gook for the Surgical Director position, Min-Gook is left wondering what he is to do next.
Will he return to America and forfeit his goal to become the next Surgical Director?
